Who we are
Jodi had an idea. Stephanie made it better. That’s how friendships work. And that’s how this blog called Thoroughly Thriving came to be.
We met many years ago while working for the same industrial company in Cleveland. These were our first jobs post college and we clicked right away. We have been best friends ever since – supporting each other through the lows and highs of life.
About Jodi

Jodi enjoyed a 30+ year career in marketing and communications for two large industrial corporations. In addition, she ran for public office and served eight years on a local school board. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from Kent State University and a Masters in Business Administration from John Carroll University. She retired from corporate life at the age of 53 to focus on her family, personal health, purpose and happiness. She’s been thoroughly thriving ever since, including starting a non-profit and pursuing a variety of writing projects.
In her spare time, Jodi feeds her sense of curiosity in many ways. She travels; enjoys plenty of hobbies; and reads, researches and takes classes in anything and everything that captures her interest. Most of all, she finds purpose in spending time with family and friends.
Jodi resides with her husband in University Heights, Ohio, an inner ring suburb on Cleveland’s east side. Their son attends the Ohio State University.
