Animal movements are not easy, but they can be so fun! Tell me it’s not hilarious to challenge your friends to a crab walk race. Also, giving movements animal names makes them more memorable. To me, “High Knees” sounds like “Hyenas” and I imagine little hyenas dancing on their hind legs. I hope you picture that on your 400 meter repeats!

400 Meter repeats can be challenging so if they are new to you, be patient with yourself.
After you’ve tried this workout I would love to hear how you did, AND if you were able to upgrade to more repeats!
DISCLAIMER: You can probably tell from the video but my yoga poses are not awesome because I am not a yogi. Here are some resources for you to find better instruction on Downward Facing Dog, Cat Pose and Cow Pose.
- Downward Facing Dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana)
- Cat Pose (Marjaryasana)
- Cow Pose (Bitilasana)
