This morning I imagined taking her for a 2 mile jog but I failed to plan a route. I went what I thought might be close to 2 miles, winding around in our neighborhood, but it was only 1.2. We’ll fix that tomorrow.
I am keenly aware that I’m only a few weeks away from my first Ragnar Trail Relay. My last trail relay was short and AWESOME [read about it here]. This one, however, will involve overnight camping and a lot more trail miles!
If you’ve done a Ragnar Trail Relay, tell me all about it!
SIHI 2 starts today!
Today is a big day for me and 9 other women at my church. My second go-round of Stepping Into His Image: Level 2 starts tonight. We have 8 women signed up and I have a new co-leader who will be going through it for the first time also. I’m incredibly excited!
However I’m also a bit anxious. I am beginning a 9 week program with 9 new women. A curriculum I wrote. With group discussion questions I wrote. With weekly readings and homework I created. What if they hate it?! I don’t honestly think they will, but I do realize how much of myself I’m putting out there when I do this.
This is only my second time running this program, so I am not used to this level of vulnerability.
What do Fitness Models make?
I’ve been loving all the press Oiselle is getting by using real life runners for their runway models. I love it when brands use true athletes for their athletic apparel. I wonder if there is a need for athletic looking (not just skinny) models?
A friend of mine sent me info about a casting call for trail/distance runners, athletic build, ages 25 to 35, for a photo/video shoot. So I took this photo and sent in it. Haha!
How about you?
- Have you ever done a Ragnar Trail Relay? What should I expect?
- Know anything about modeling? Does it sounds like a weird thing to do?
