You guys are so awesome!!! Thanks for the encouragement throughout the year! I think my goal for next year is to run a half marathon every month (already have Jan and Feb scheduled!) Prior to this year, I ran one…which may be my first marathon in 2014!
Amazing how people you have never met, and are not in your age bracket (race-wise) can be so influential! Thanks for an amazing 2013, and I look forward to hanging out more in 2014!

So far in 2013, I’ve run 530ish miles – my highest yet. I completed my first Half Marathon in May, as well as a second in September, and a third in November. I am already registered for two Half Marathon’s, a 12 mile, and a 10 mile in 2014. I don’t know about 2,014 miles (that’s crazy talk), but I can definitely beat 2013!

I know that I didn’t hit near enough miles for Run This Year 2013, but as I am looking at running my 1st marathon in 2014 and possibly even my 1st Ultra I would need to be raking in some miles in training, not to mention the other miles that I merely want to put in.

I’m not planning to do as many races in 2014 (when the 365th day rolls around, I will be running #31 at Tink–and landing on Earth with the Half Fanatics, where I’m going to “rest” for a bit). What I *am* planning on doing are things to support running better: losing a little weight, building some muscle strength, and running short distances more often.

2913 has been incredible, and I am very, very thankful for the love and support of the running bloggers and tweeters I’ve met on line and then in person!!

Family and friends may be the best resource in accomplishing your goal.

Protein Powders – These are very popular vitamin supplements,
probably as they are so versatile. Some people think the answer then is to starve themselves
as bathing suit season approaches, but bodies are also designed
to store more calories if we do not eat enough.
